How is this different from a prep book?
A prep book gives you more code to read. This course teaches you to navigate the codebook quickly under timed exam conditions, which is the skill that actually decides whether you pass. It also includes 500+ practice questions matched to the real exam format and full-length timed simulations.
What NEC edition is the course based on?
We have courses based on the 2017 through 2026 code editions. Selecting your state and exam type above directs you to the correct course. Different states test on different versions.
Do I need prior experience with the NEC?
No. The course is designed for working electricians who know the trade but have not studied the code formally. The course teaches you how to navigate the NEC from the start.
What do I need besides the course?
